It turns out Iowa graduate transfer Isaiah Moss won’t be playing for the Razorbacks next season.

Just over three weeks ago, Moss announced he would be joining Eric Musselman’s Arkansas program as a graduate transfer but that doesn’t appear to be the case now as the former Hawkeye is back on the open transfer market. If you were unaware, graduate transfers are not locked in at a school until they attend class at their new institution. Up until that point, nothing is official.

Moss appeared in all 35 games for the Hawkeyes last year and averaged 9.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists.

Moss declared his intentions on Friday with the following message:

“After much thought and deliberation with my family, I have made the difficult decision to re-open my recruitment. I would like to thank the coaching staff at the University of Arkansas for all they have done for me. I am hopeful and excited for what the future holds for me.”

Arkansas is in need of some help in the backcourt heading into Musselman’s first year in Fayetteville so this loss could hurt if the team doesn’t have anyone lined up ready to take the place of Moss.
