John Fanta shares high praise for Razorbacks: ‘Arkansas defensively is as tough as they come’

John Fanta, a FOX Sports college basketball broadcaster, holds the Arkansas men’s basketball team in high regard.

Fanta said he’s not sure if it’s fully realized nationally just how great the Razorbacks have been over the last 3 seasons. But the Razorbacks know who they are, and even top-tier freshmen are held accountable to play to their identity.

“Arkansas defensively is as tough as they come,” Fanta said. “And that includes Tennessee. I mean I want to watch Arkansas and Tennessee play, because I think it’s just a war. What impresses me the most is we have seen countless freshman classes come in with huge numbers next to their name, tons of stars, tons of hype, tons of buzz, we’ve seen it. (Eric Musselman) is making the highly-touted class a commonality down at Arkansas, and the kids that are coming in, they know what to expect, and they know what’s expected of them.
