OFFENSE: A

Arkansas gained 484 yards of total offense, and got back to the run amassing nearly 300 yards on the ground. The Hogs did not turn the ball over, and quarterback Brandon Allen had a nice day finishing 15 of 24 for 205 yards and two scores. Allen continues to do a great job of spreading the football around; nine different receivers caught passes on Saturday afternoon. The Razorbacks had four players average more than five yards per carry.

DEFENSE: B+

It was a very solid defensive effort from the Hogs, who allowed just 195 yards of total offense. Tevin Mitchel earned his first interception of the season, while Arkansas registered eight tackles for loss and a sack. Martrell Spaight led the Razorbacks with nine total tackles. A lot of reserves saw time for Robb Smith, with a host of Razorbacks recording tackles.

SPECIAL TEAMS: B

Adam McFain made his only field goal attempt from 49 yards, while Sam Irwin-Hill had a better day punting. Punt returns continue to be a problem area for Arkansas; the Hogs again lost a fumble on a punt return and nearly lost another. Head coach Bret Bielema needs to find a solution for the punt return unit.

COACHING: A-

Bielema had some trickeration up his sleeve, and called the fake field goal in the second quarter up 21-0. Offensive coordinator Jim Chaney had a nice, balanced game plan offensively. The Hogs were prepared, and executed. It was the performance you would’ve hoped for from the Razorbacks.

OVERALL: A-

It was a dominating effort, but it was against UAB. If Arkansas can replicate that performance moving forward, that will be a positive sign for the Razorback program. The Hogs now have Mississippi State, LSU, Ole Miss and Missouri over the final five weeks of the season. Will they finally earn their first conference win?
