Arkansas will have to face one of the SEC’s best offenses on Saturday in Ole Miss.

The Rebels racked up over 700 yards of total offense against LSU Saturday, and they are looking for similar success against Arkansas.

In his press conference Monday, Sam Pittman broke down what makes Ole Miss’ offense so affective, pointing out the several tools they have on offense.

“Dart’s really good,” Pittman said. “Those 2 running backs are, I think they’re as good as anybody has. Judkins is really special, the transfer from SMU (Ulysses Bentley) is really good. Kickoff returner as well. Their line, they’ve got 3 veterans over right and they went in the transfer portal and got really good players on the offensive line. I think coach, he runs the ball quite a little bit. I would too if I had those running backs.”

Ole Miss has made a living off of home run plays that wipe the defense out, mainly from the run game, and Pittman is hoping to contain those big plays on Saturday.

“You see a lot of explosives,” Pittman said. “For us to win, we’re going to have to cut those explosive plays out, and that’s for going up the middle of the field as well. They basically run 4 running plays, and off of that they have either their RPO or read from the quarterback. And Dart’s a lot faster than I want him to be. But they’ve got playmakers everywhere. Just really scary.”

Arkansas is coming off a 3rd-straight loss and hoping an upset-win will get the Razorbacks back on track. But it will certainly be a challenge as Ole Miss rides the confidence from the win over LSU into the game.
