Sam Pittman knows that the transfer portal works both ways.

After losing cornerback Jaqualyn Crawford and defensive lineman Taylor Lewis to the transfer portal, Pittman made is clear that playing football for Arkansas isn’t for everyone.

“I feel like if they don’t want to be here they need to get in the portal and I have no problem with it.”

“We’re not for everybody. You’ve got to practice and you’ve got to go to weights…it’s hard. If you don’t like it, that’s who we are. We’re not changing…go in the portal.”

Crawford was a reserve defensive back, who transferred to Arkansas from Oklahoma two years ago. Lewis arrived in Arkansas over the summer as a junior college transfer from the College of the Canyons.

Arkansas has benefitted from several transfers since Pittman arrived and expect several more to contribute this season. Pass rusher Jordan Domineck came to Arkansas after collecting 98 tackles, nine sacks and forcing four fumbles at Georgia Tech.

Wide receiver Matt Landers started his college career at Georgia, but arrived in Arkansas after averaging over 25 yards per catch last season at Toledo.

Arkansas fans, are you excited about the transfers that the Razorbacks brought in this season?
