Sam Pittman has the task of finding a new offensive coordinator, and he has a solid candidate in house right now.

Kenny Guiton was promoted to interim offensive coordinator after Dan Enos was fired, and he posted a solid performance against Florida on Saturday.

On Monday, Pittman was asked if Guiton would be considered for the full-time offensive coordinator job as well as if he would be the quarterbacks coach.

“The first part of that, absolutely. I don’t really know how I could not look at him after that performance,” Pittman said. “I spoke with him a little bit about that as well, about our timeline and what we’re going to do. Then I think at that point what you would do if you decided to stay in house is figure out what position he would feel most comfortable coaching. We haven’t made that decision yet, but I don’t know how he could’ve done a better job than what he did on Saturday.”

Arkansas’ 39 points against Florida on Saturday was the most the Razorbacks have posted since their Week 1 game. While Pittman and his staff will continue going through the search process, Arkansas fans would probably be happy if Guiton was the choice.
