Butch Jones could receive his second chance as an SEC head coach, but he probably won’t if Arkansas fans have anything to say about it.

In response to a report that Jones “is a guy being considered at Arkansas” surfaced from Senior Writer for Banner Society Steven Godfrey after sharing this report on The Midday 180 in Nashville, Razorbacks fans took to Twitter to voice their displeasure.

Jones served as Tennessee’s head coach from 2013-17, where he actually experienced some success. He led the Volunteers to three bowl victories and two nine-win seasons. But the wheels fell off in 2017, as Tennessee went 4-8 and didn’t win an SEC game.

Prior to Tennessee, Jones coached at Central Michigan and Cincinnati for a combined six seasons. He won at least 10 games in an individual season at both schools.

Here are some of the best social media reactions to the news Jones might become the next Arkansas head coach.
