When it comes to football coaches, not many of them will be mistaken for the players they coach. Some of the least athletic men on the planet find themselves coaching at the highest levels of the game.

Though Arkansas DC John Chavis was once a talented defensive tackle for Tennessee, his days of elite athleticism are far behind him.

That didn’t stop the 62-year-old coordinator from showing off his sprinting skills after Jalen Catalon snagged a pick-6 in Monday’s practice. See him streaking down the sideline on the far side of this video:

Catalon hip-bumped his coach when Chavis made it far enough down the sideline toward the end zone.

Arkansas had an SEC-low five interceptions in 2018, and none were returned for touchdowns, so we’ll see if Catalon and the Hogs’ secondary can give Chavis some more reasons to celebrate this fall.
