Asa Martin initially began his college career at Auburn as a 4-star prospect out of high school. After stints at Miami and Memphis, Martin is reportedly back on the move and heading to the Sun Belt.

According to Matt Zenitz with On3 Sports, Martin has enrolled at Troy heading into 2023. Martin’s best collegiate season came in 2022 when he produced a versatile year for Memphis.

Coming out of high school, Martin was a 4-star prospect and the No. 9 running back in the country per the 247 Sports Composite. He was a part of an impressive 2018 recruiting class for Auburn but failed to make a big impact with the program. Martin finished his freshman season with 57 rushing yards and 93 total yards of offense before transferring.

In the 2022 season, Martin led Memphis with 747 yards from scrimmage and finished second on the team with 8 touchdowns. He heads to Troy with over 1,400 yards of offense and 13 touchdowns in his career.
