After transferring from Baylor, QB Jarrett Stidham is the most sought-after free agent currently on the college football market.

Stidham left Waco in the wake of the sexual assault scandal that involved the school and the firing of head coach Art Briles. He landed at McLennan Community College — and has multiple programs pining for his services. Stidham did not play football at the junior college and has three years of immediate eligibility to offer.

During the SEC Championship Game, Stidham tweeted out a rather interesting message:

It appears as if the former 4-star prospect has narrowed down his final list to the following three programs: Auburn, Florida, and Texas A&M.

Following his campus visit to Auburn earlier this week, Stidham met with the team’s offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee on Friday — and is slated to see the Florida staff on Sunday. Both programs are in desperate need of a lead signal-caller. Stidham is truly a game-changer. He possesses terrific arm strength, and is adept at spraying the ball to all spots on the field with good touch.

When looking at the quarterback situations for each of the three schools, it’s very likely to assume Stidham will start from day one.

Upon seeing the tweet, several Auburn players responded, suggesting Stidham is headed to the Plains in the near future:

Do the Auburn players know something we don’t? We’ll find out soon enough, as Stidham will announce his next destination in the next few weeks.
