Elijah Canion: Auburn WR transfer commits to B1G program
Elijah Canion will head north to finish his college career as the former Auburn wide receiver announced that he would transfer to Purdue.
The 6-foot-4 and 214-pound sophomore out of Hollywood, Fla. entered the transfer portal about 2 weeks ago after he struggled to find playing time in 2 seasons with the Tigers. He was a 3-star recruit in the 2020 class rated as the 85th wideout in his class and the 525th overall prospect, per the 247 Composite.
In his Auburn career, he made just 6 appearances and registered 7 receptions for 126 yards. He had just 4 catches this season. This past season, he appeared in just 4 games, as he struggled to see the field as SEC play got underway.
