Waffle House has a few really famous customers.

Gus and Kristi Malzahn and professional golfer and two-time Masters winner Bubba Watson both love to celebrate successes with some late night waffles and hashbrowns.

The Malzahns grab a meal at Waffle House after every Auburn win. The couple’s tradition made waves when the Malzahns shared a photo of their post-game trip after the Tigers’ season-opening win against Washington State last season.

SEC fans can now catch a glimpse of the tradition. ESPN, which operates the SEC Network, was granted access to the 14 SEC coaches’ wives for a series titled “The Better Half.” The piece on the Malzahn’s will air on Saturday morning on ESPN’s “College GameDay.”

The ritual began when Malzahn was a high school head coach in Arkansas.

According to AL.com, Kristi Malzahn tells ESPN, “he just has to win to do it because if he doesn’t win we have to go home and eat a sandwich.”

Their orders? A steak omelet for Coach and a two-egg breakfast with crispy bacon for The Better Half.
