Discussion about the Iron Bowl never really stops in Alabama, but now with no other game in its way, the chatter is open for business.

After Auburn rolled over Liberty, 53-0, a few Tigers weighed in on the upcoming game in Tuscaloosa on Saturday. The Crimson Tide, of course, are looking for revenge following Auburn’s upset win last year. Alabama leads the all-time series 45-36-1. Alabama’s won seven of the last 10 in the series.

“It’s a big one this week and the reason I came to Auburn,” Chandler Cox said. “We’re not going to lay down and back down from those guys. We’re going to go in there and give everything we have. I’m going to leave everything out there.”

Ryan Davis said he appreciates the build-up to the game, and playing for the historical nature of the rivalry.

“So much goes into this game,” he said. “You want to play for the people that came before you. With the history and background of it, you want to go out the right way.”

The Tigers had their first FBS shutout in 10 years against Liberty, and rolled up 531 yards of offense.

“Every game you improve, improve on things that you did not do or improve on things that you were not good at or could do better,” DL Andrew Williams said. “We came in with that momentum and mindset and that is how everybody feels.”
