John Cohen has some plans to upgrade Jordan-Hare Stadium.

The Auburn athletics director joined radio show Tiger Talk Thursday night to detail the upgrade plans for the stadium. Cohen said the school is coming up with a plan to upgrade the North end zone in the stadium to include a new video board and suits. He said the engineers have taken inspiration from Razorback Stadium, which Auburn played in last week, and the architects and engineers have plans to visit Notre dame later this year.

Cohen said that the plans to upgrade the video board come to better enhance the experience at Jordan-Hare Stadium, especially for students, who are unable to see the video board easily.

“We’ve got to do better than that,” Cohen said on Tiger Talk. “We have to. We’re going to do that. We’re going to design a state-of-the-art videoboard in the north end zone that’s going to fit in with several premium areas of the north end zone.”

The renovation plans come after Auburn increased its capacity ahead of the 2023 season, among other gameday enhancements. Auburn’s last major renovation was in 2018 when added a new recruiting center and press box and the locker room was expanded.
