Auburn is waiting for some key players to make decisions on whether or not to declare for the 2022 NFL Draft.

On Thursday, offensive lineman Brodarious Hamm announced his plans, revealing he will leave Auburn for the 2022 NFL Draft.

Hamm made the announcement via social media. He thanked his coaches, family, and fans for supporting him over the years before announcing he’d be taking his talents to the NFL.

Although his life has been full of personal tragedies, Hamm managed to overcome those adversities to become a great player for the Tigers.

Hamm battled cancer back in 2016 and he and his wife lost their son last year, but despite that, he was able to survive with the help of his family and teammates.

Hamm talked about this on the Auburn Tigers team page, Auburn Tigers.com.

“I’ve grown a lot these last few years,” Hamm said. “My wife, Kayla, has helped me grow and really become a leader. We had our first child at the start of 2020 and we lost him unexpectedly. My wife is a strong woman. She pushes me and drives me to be better and I want to be the same for her, especially with all we’ve been through.”

“After losing my son, I was just shot,” he said. “I wouldn’t wish that for anyone. But my brothers on the team were there for me and stuck with me through that. I want to be the leader they need me to be because they were there for me during that hard time.”

Now, the talented Hamm will try to conquer the NFL.
