Auburn’s defense should be loaded once again in 2019, with key players like DT Derrick Brown, DB Javaris Davis, DB Jeremiah Dinson and a number of other key contributors returning to school.

However, one player who can’t return to The Plains is senior LB Deshaun Davis, who has now used up all of his college eligibility.

As you can see below, Davis took to Twitter on Tuesday night to joke about potentially returning for his “senior-senior” season to join all of his former teammates on the field for one more ride:

It must be tough for a guy like Davis, who has been the leader of the Auburn defense for the past couple of seasons, to know his teammates and friends will be playing without him next fall. However, Davis will be playing on Sundays next year, and the Tigers will be cheering him on every week.

Davis recorded a career-high 112 tackles (15 for a loss) this season, adding 3.5 sacks and two pass breakups.
