Outback Bowl draws highest ESPN2 rating ever

In a thrilling 34-31 overtime loss, Auburn’s Outback Bowl matchup against Wisconsin drew the highest ESPN2 rating in the network’s history.

Per an Outback Bowl release, the Wisconsin-Auburn Outback Bowl had the highest rating of any program in ESPN2 history

The 29th Outback Bowl opened a full day of New Year’s Day football on the ESPN family of networks, which is expected to set a record in terms of viewership.
