According to multiple reports, Auburn defensive end Carl Lawson did not make the trip to Baton Rouge and will not play in Saturday’s game against LSU.

Lawson, who missed all of last season after knee surgery, did not play in last week’s win over Jacksonville State and only played in the first half in Auburn’s opener against Louisville.

A hip injury is Lawson’s newest ailment.

“He’s been out there,” Auburn defensive coordinator Will Muschamp said earlier this week, per AL.com. “He’s been out there. Like I said, he’s kinda day-to-day, so we still haven’t made a decision.”
