Sean White deserved some praise for many things during his Auburn career. However, how the junior quarterback will reportedly leave the program won’t be among the things he’s fondly remembered for on The Plains.

According to Matt Zenitz of AL.com, White has been dismissed from the program following his recent arrest for public intoxication.

It’s a sad ending for a player that played hurt when the team had no other options at quarterback. He didn’t complain when the team added junior college transfer Jarrett Stidham. He continued to support Stidham when head coach Gus Malzahn named the newcomer the team’s starting quarterback.

Despite those positives, White will most likely be remembered by Auburn fans by what happened after Stidham took over the Auburn offense.

White, who was suspended for the first two weeks of the season, did not record any stats this season. During his collegiate career, he threw for 2,845 yards and 10 touchdowns.
