Carl Torbush served as defensive coordinator for four different current SEC programs, including Ole Miss (1983-86), Alabama (2001-02), Mississippi State (2009) and Texas A&M (2003-05) while the Aggies still were a member of the Big 12.
Torbush also held head coaching jobs at Louisiana Tech and North Carolina during his career, which has spanned five decades. His latest assignment has been to revive the dormant East Tennessee State football program as the head coach.
Torbush also served as defensive coordinator at Kansas.
