E.H. Alley

A track and field coach for most of his career, E.H. Alley played end for the Tennessee Vols in the 1920s and spent two seasons as a football coach for the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders and Vanderbilt Commodores.

Alley led Vandy to a 5-0 record in 1943. He also served as a Vanderbilt assistant in 1940, an Auburn assistant in 1944-45 and coached the Commodores in track and field from 1949 to 1971.
