Barlow joined the Vanderbilt staff after serving as interim head coach and defensive coordinator at New Mexico. Barlow is one of three former FCS coordinators on the defensive staff. Barlow led the secondary in a defense that ranked third in the SEC in 2011. Prior to arriving in Nashville, Barlow coached at New Mexico, with previous stints including James Madison and Oklahoma.
After living in Birmingham, Ala., Jordan left the ground zero of SEC Nation to head south to Florida to tell the unique stories of the renowned tradition of SEC football. In his free time, his mission is to find the best locales around.
