Karl Dunbar
The Alabama Crimson Tide hired Karl Dunbar to coach its defensive line in May of 2016.
Karl Dunbar twice has coached at LSU, first in 2000-01 as the team’s strength and conditioning coach and then in 2005 as the defensive line coach in Les Miles’ first season with the Tigers.
Dunbar also worked under Miles as the defensive line coach at Oklahoma State (2002-03). He’s coached the defensive line for three NFL teams as well, including the Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings and New York Jets, coaching players like Tommie Harris, Tank Johnson, Kevin Williams and Pat Williams.
