Robert Gillespie

Running Backs/ Recruiting Coordinator, Tennessee Volunteers

Robert Gillespie ensures Tennessee’s running backs are ready to explode.

Gillespie knows a thing or two about carrying the rock, lettering four years at Florida in the early 2000s before joining the coaching ranks full-time under Steve Spurrier at South Carolina in 2006. Gillespie spent three years in Columbia before two seasons each at West Virginia and Oklahoma State. In 2013, he helped Rajion Neal surpass the 1,000-yard barrier in his first season at Tennessee.
