CBS Sports post-lottery Round 1 2022 NBA Mock Draft features 6 SEC standouts

On Tuesday, the NBA Draft lottery was held, with the Orlando Magic snagging the No. 1 overall pick. The Oklahoma City Thunder will pick second.

Now that the lottery order is set, a new wave of mock drafts will be coming out, and on Wednesday, CBS Sports analyst Kyle Boone updated his projections.

As you can see below, he has 6 SEC standouts going in Round 1, led by Auburn’s Jabari Smith Jr. in the No. 2 spot:

• No. 2 — Jabari Smith Jr., F, Auburn — Oklahoma City Thunder
• No. 5 — Shaedon Sharpe, G, Kentucky — Detroit Pistons
• No. 7 — TyTy Washington, G, Kentucky — Portland Trail Blazers
• No. 15 — Tari Eason, F, LSU — Charlotte Hornets
• No. 24 — Kennedy Chandler, G, Tennessee — Milwaukee Bucks
• No. 29 — Walker Kessler, C, Auburn — Memphis Grizzlies
