Caleb Williams is the nation’s biggest name in the NCAA transfer portal, and he’s a top 5 overall returning player for 2022.

Since announcing his intentions to enter the portal at Oklahoma, Williams received a $1 million NIL offer from former NFL quarterback Charlie Batch to attend Eastern Michigan.

However, from Williams’ camp, it’s been pretty quiet.

ESPN’s Kyle Bonagura reported Wednesday night that Williams met with the USC Trojans and the UCLA Bruins about a potential transfer.

“QB Caleb Williams spent the last day and a half meeting with coaches at UCLA, after spending time at USC over the weekend, per source. He’s expected to communicate and possibly visit more top programs before deciding where to play,” Bonagura tweeted.

Williams meeting with USC is not surprising. Lincoln Riley, now USC’s coach, signed Williams at Oklahoma.

The quarterback played in 11 games in 2021 for OU, throwing for 1,916 yards and 21 touchdowns, while adding 442 yards rushing and 6 touchdowns. He’s considered a Heisman Trophy candidate for the 2022 season.
