Robert Griffin III knows what it takes to win a Heisman. The former Baylor Bear won the award back in 2011 after one of the most dominant college QB seasons ever.

Now an analyst, Griffin took to social media to reveal his top 5 Heisman contenders for the 2023 season.

The former QB has QB Michael Penix, QB Bo Nix, QB Jayden Daniels, WR Marvin Harrison Jr., and QB Jordan Travis, in that order.

Penix and Nix have thrived at their Pac-12 schools after previously playing in the B1G and SEC respectively. Penix has his Washington Huskies sitting at 10-0, while Nix has his Oregon Ducks at 9-1, having only lost to UW.

Daniels’ LSU Tigers are no longer in the title hunt, but the Arizona State transfer is having an incredible season nonetheless in his second year in Baton Rouge. The QB recently became the first FBS QB to account for 12,000 passing yards and 3,000 rushing yards in a career.

Harrison Jr. is widely considered the top receiver prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft. The receiver has racked up 1,063 yards on 59 catches this season. Only 3 receivers have ever won the Heisman.

Travis has his Florida State Seminoles sitting at 10-0 and in prime position to challenge for a College Football Playoff spot.

The winner of the Heisman Trophy will be revealed on Dec. 9.
