In his young football career, Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence has already won multiple ACC championships and a national championship. He’ll be adding a different kind of ring to his collection.

On Friday, Lawrence got engaged, proposing to his girlfriend Marissa Mowry at Memorial Stadium in Clemson. They shared photos of the proposal on Instagram.

The two are both graduates of Cartersville High in Georgia. In May, Mowry noted that the couple was celebrating its four-year anniversary of dating.

In March, the couple created a COVID-19 relief fund via GoFundMe that was initially shut down by the NCAA but eventually restored. The fund, no longer accepting donations, raised $4,255.

The next few months could be full of special memories for Lawrence. He enters his junior season as the quarterback of a favorite to make the College Football Playoff, a Heisman Trophy frontrunner and a potential top pick in the NFL Draft.
