On Paul Finebaum: He is DEFINITELY a shill, for Paul Finebaum, always has been and always will be. He will pander for ratings/money by promoting/denouncing whomever or whatever. Only thing different today as opposed to decades ago, is now he has ESPN overlords to please. He is VERY good at it, as most in his profession are. Happens to be promoting Bryce Young today. On Bryce Young: I am definitely impressed with the young man as a person and a player from what I saw on TV yesterday. He has everything he needs in the "talent, can't be taught" category, and is well on his way to learning everything else he needs to know. It is a long way to the end of the season as others have said, but he earned his hype for today.

The "Alliance" is just 3 rookie conference commissioners trying to look like they are NOT deer caught in the headlights of the SEC Mack truck. I can't blame them for trying. If they want to create an "Alliance" sand box, I say let them play in it while the grown-ups talk. My basic response to the "Alliance" is: Not my circus, not my monkeys. Nothing to see here. All out of cliche metaphors for today.
