Actually the writers are correct. By SEC guidelines standings are determined by winning percentage first, so if Florida loses they will be 4-2 (.667%). If Kentucky wins they will be 5-2 (.714%). Therefore If both those scenarios happen Kentucky will indeed be in first place on Sunday morning.
