I hear so much from you guys in your comments "this team is better than That team and that team is better this team, so this team will win this, this, and this game...blah, blah, blah." Give me a break... Nobody knows what will happen on the field. You may be right about a certain team being better than another team, but does that mean they'll win a heads up matchup? No. And then you say "this is the best team in the West so they're gonna win the west hands down!" That's wrong also. The best team doesn't always win the division. They have to run the gauntlet and that doesn't always shake out for the best team. Does anyone here actually believe MizzU was the best team in the East last year?

How are we so sure the East is "the most mediocre in its history"....granted UK and Vandy suck most of the time, USC has one of the all time great coaches in SEC history and maybe he gets his team back on track...Maybe, UT's very talented youth jive as a unit and explode this year- maybe they suck also, but that's just something we never know until games are played. Maybe MIZZU gets developing D-Line talent and it all finally clicks for Matty Mauk and he becomes a complete QB. Maybe UF is energized by the hiring of a new coach and light the scoreboard up...it's not like Muschamp didn't recruit pretty decent while there, even if he couldn't develop it. My point in all this is that we can suspect what each team looks like but really don't have a clue until the games are played- who expected Auburn to play for a title 2 years ago?- so all this "most mediocre division in history" talk is silly
