Actually it's NOT Nick Saban’s traditional stance at all. He said it's not his place to question a tradition that's already been hard core and in place before he arrived. There is the Old Guard at Alabama who's skulls are as thick as the Hoover Damn. Having it their way....We'd see AT&T, Pepsi Cola etc. still using the logo brands from 1929. I know it's a bizarre head scratcher . The Helmet above doesn't look horrid, but something to bridge the vast gulf between "the old guard - old farts" you might use the traditional Crimson color code, but turn up the reflectivity chrome effect only a tad, then add the Alabama Script A. With a white central strip across the top. Or use the exact helmet above but with the Alabama Script A. The Helmet is long over due to be retired and it's NOT Nick Saban causing the problems. Believe me, I've talked to him about it.
