"competing for the SEC every 30 years" is about the dumbest thing I've read. They played for it and won it in '97 and '98 and played for it again in '04 and '07. While they're not exactly Bama or UF, they compete for it on a pretty decent basis in the grand scheme of things. We'll probably all be dead before UK even sees 2nd in the east
