First off, these rankings mean nothing. He hasn't played one college football game yet, and he couldn't even make it to a state championship game with a loaded Oak Ridge team in high school. As I mentioned before, I seen Higgins get shut down by a 5'7" defensive back that played for Rhea County in the 2014 playoffs. So are you telling me that this 5'7" defensive back should be rated the #1 defensive back in the nation? I mean because he did shut down the so called "#3 WR in the nation". For the record when Higgins was committed to Tennessee I thought the same thing. I could care less if he comes to Tennessee or not. As I said before, if he doesn't want to be there then we don't want/nor need him there. We will be just fine with or without him. The poor evaluation of talent shows here immensely because I know for a fact that I could easily find 25+ WR's in the nation that are better than Higgins.

This isn't a big loss for Tennessee. Higgins is an okay player at best right now. He does have the chance to develop and become better, and I would like him to come to Tennessee BUT ONLY if he truly wanted to be there. We don't need, nor want, players at the University of Tennessee that don't want to be there. I would take a 3 star WR that truly wanted to be there over a 5 star WR that didn't want to be there. The rating that Higgins has by 247Sports shows me that their is a poor evaluation of talent, or the 2017 class has some horrible receivers in it...
