It has been a great pleasure and honor for both my husband and me to call Billy Brewer and James T. Thomas friends. To this day when I think of Coach T. I can't help but smile. It is wonderful to learn that his grandson is now enrolled at Ole Miss. Though we were already strong supporters of Ole Miss when we met Coach Brewer our friendship with him strengthened that support and love of the University. My children, who are now in their mid to late forties, share that love and admiration of both men. I don't think you could find a man that played for Coach Brewer that doesn't love and respect him just as we do. Thank you for writing such an excellent article. Tom and Linda Windham
