Interesting. Tell me this: you have a dead ball in team B's end zone after a free kick where no team had obtained possession. The ball is in the end zone as a result of team A's action. Result? Team B's ball on the 25. What *might* have happened had the ball not been ruled dead is immaterial. Move on.

I hope you folks that *know* so much about football and how games *should* be called will sign up to be game officials. College sports sure could use people like you that never get a call wrong. Of course, it will mean you'll actually have to learn the rules for the sport (including dead ball and inadvertant whistle rules). But that shouldn't be an issue for the brain trust that write these ignorant articles and add "comentary" to televised games...
