Yeah I don't think UT has any right to talk about choking. UT hasn't been relevant since 1999.
Stetson Bennett is not good enough to beat top 10 teams. Pure and simple. What is it with UGA always thinking they have found a diamond in the rough? No other program leaves 5 star QBs on the bench like UGA does. It's been going on for 20 years. Other programs recruit 5 stars and win with them. This game reminds me of the GT offenses running the option. It works great when you are ahead. Get behind, and the game is over.
Stetson won't be the starter next year. JT is the better QB but it may not be either of them starting. The only reason JT isn't starting is because we need JT healthy. We can win with Stetson, but we need JT for the post season.
To me it's not a matter of who is better. JT is hands down the better QB. It shows on the field. The question is, who should start? The answer is Stetson. Why? Because the last two times JT started he suffered an injury that caused him to miss games. The last thing Kirby needs is for JT to go back in there and get hurt again. He needs him in the post season. He can not afford to go into the post season with only one qualified QB.
Until the Dawgs are behind in the 2nd half, there is no reason to play JT...yet.
