JFC, the stupidity in this thread is incredible. 1. They're negotiating. 2. They do have the power...all of it. No play, no nothing. Hang on to your shorts, this will spread just like corona, it'll hit everyone. 3. It's 100% capitalism, you ask for what you feel you are owed. 4. Who gets rich off college students? Admin and staff. Do you think Saban's taking a 75% pay cut this year if there's no football? Hardly. 5. My guess...this isn't even a real issue. Probably mis-reported anyway. . 6. But if it is...good for them, man, taking all the risk for literally no reason, just so we can enjoy a few hours of pigskin. 10% will make the NFL, 90% will have a lifetime of pain and injuries and a litany of other issues. Maybe some will get their "free education" degrees, but most do not. That's reality. BTW, I do blame the NCAA on all this. There's enough money in the system to make it work for everyone. This isn't 1965 when coaches made $15,000 per year and TV rights were nothing. It's a multi-billion business. That's right...business.
