Snapping a three-game losing streak against Georgia is plenty reason to celebrate for the Florida Gators, and coach Dan Mullen knows it.

That’s why Mullen met with hands in the end zone seats in Jacksonville following the 44-28 victory over Georgia. There were about 9,000 fans from each team’s fan base at the game, and the Gators faithful stuck around to soak in the win with players and coaches.

Florida rang up 571 yards in the win, and QB Kyle Trask had four touchdown passes on 30-for-43 passing for 474 yards with an interception, a Pick Six. It was Mullen’s most significant victory in three years in Gainesville, and now the Gators have an inside track to win the SEC East.

The Gators scored on eight of nine possessions after a three-and-out to start the game

The only question that remained going into the fourth quarter was whether Florida would top 50 points for the third time in series history.

Florida hosts Arkansas next week, and it will feature the return of QB Feleipe Franks to the Swamp.
