Florida fans haven’t had much to cheer for the past couple of years. But on Saturday night in The Swamp, is it possible that the tide could be changing under second-year head coach Billy Napier?

After 3 quarters of play on Saturday night, Florida led No. 11 Tennessee 26-10. The Gators were utterly dominating the game, leading to a festive atmosphere in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

And, as we all know, after the third quarter, Florida honors Gainesville legend Tom Petty with a singing of “I Won’t Back Down,” one of the rock star’s best songs.

Florida has absolutely dominated the Vols in every aspect of the game. This is the sort of signature win Billy Napier has been looking for as coach of the Gators.
