Some Florida commits will be making their college decision official during the early signing period, which starts on Wednesday. However, one Gators offensive line commit has already made it known he won’t be signing Wednesday.

3-star recruit Jovens Janvier announced on Twitter on Tuesday that he won’t be signing on the first day of the early signing period. It’s not clear whether that means he’ll sign with the Gators later, or if he’ll be heading to a different school.

Janvier committed to Florida on June 7,  the same day that he attended a camp at the school. He had previously been committed to Louisville, a decision he made on May 29, 2018. However, he decommitted from the Cardinals on Dec. 13, 2018.

That decommitment came two days after Janvier took his first unofficial visit to Florida.

Janvier is the No. 84 guard in the 2020 class, per the 247sports Composite rankings, as well as the No. 177 recruit from Florida. He currently attends Miami Christian School.
