Florida QB commit Anthony Richardson injured, senior season could be over
Florida quarterback pledge Anthony Richardson suffered an injury that may have ended his senior season early.
Gainesville Sun reporter Graham Hall was covering the Eastside-North Marion game on Thursday night. Richardson, Eatside’s quarterback, injured his right arm/shoulder in the first half and did not return for the second half. After the game, Hall reported that Eastside coach Cedderick Daniels confirmed Richardson is out for the remainder of the season. Richardson, however, quoted-tweeted Hall’s report and said that it is not yet confirmed and that he would be getting x-rays on Friday.
All injuries are unfortunate, but it would be especially unfortunate for Richardson as he is being filmed for the Netflix show “QB1”. The 4-star dual-threat quarterback committed to the hometown Gators on April 6, 2019 (his second time pledging to UF).
Anthony Richardson’s night is done, right arm/shoulder injury will keep him out the rest of the night. North Marion up 42-13 with 1:28 until halftime. https://t.co/GFZN79eMTL

This is wild.
Netflix’s QB1 is now filming Eastside freshman backup Holden Johnson. They apparently run a microphone under the pads. pic.twitter.com/RkmbWrB9lD
