Callway was suspended in March for violating the school’s code of conduct policy, forcing him to miss spring practice. In June, his suspension was modified to allow him to be on campus to take classes and use the facilities — which was, at the time, the first step in him returning to the Gators’ football team. He has since been back on campus and participating in player-organized workouts.
Still, his student conduct case might not be resolved before the Week 1 opener vs. UMass, which puts his availability for that game up in the air. Andreu reports, however, that Callaway is expecting a fair ruling in his case:
Source says there's a good chance Callaway's student conduct code case will not be resolved before the Sept. 3 opener.

I've been hearing that Callaway is expected to get a favorable ruling in his case. Just a matter of time now.

Callaway recorded 35 receptions for 678 yards and four touchdowns as a true freshman in 2015 and is expected to play a huge role in the Gators’ offensive game plan moving forward.
