John Bol, elite center out of Kansas for class of 2024, reveals SEC commitment

John Bol is an elite 4-star center and one of the best overall basketball recruits in the country for the class of 2024. On Saturday, he confirmed an SEC commitment.

Bol revealed a commitment to Florida and head coach Todd Golden. The 7-foot-1 Bol landed on the Gators over offers from Mizzou, Texas, Michigan, USC, UConn and others.

Bol is a major prospect out of Sunrise Christian School in Wichita, Kansas. According to the 247 Sports Composite, Bol is a 4-star recruit, the No. 3 center and the 23rd overall prospect in the country for the 2024 recruiting class.

Bol’s commitment gives Golden and the Gators a pair of pledges so far. The 7-foot-1 center headlines those players with 4-star shooting guard Isaiah Brown out of Orlando Christian Prep as the other commitment to this point.

We’ll see how Florida rounds out the recruiting class moving forward.
