It appears Lorenzo Lingard is ready for a truckload of carries after serving as a reserve player in his first season in Gainesville.

Excuse the pun but Lingard is poised to breakout for Florida next season after carrying the football just five times for 32 yards in 2020, his first with the Gator program. The Orange City native started his college career at Miami before transferring to Florida last offseason.

On Thursday, the former five-star high school recruit showed that he’s not afraid to put in the work necessary to excel as Lingard shared video footage of himself pulling a truck.

As if that wasn’t impressive enough, the truck was weighed down by some of his friends in the bed of the vehicle.

For his college career, Lingard has 168 rushing yards and two touchdowns. If he continues to train this hard, the Florida running back may manage to top that mark in the first game of next season.
