Media reacts to first half of Florida-Virginia Orange Bowl
The first half of the Orange Bowl belonged to Florida running back Lamical Perine.
The senior running back scored three touchdowns for the Gators over the first two quarters of Monday’s game against Virginia. That included a 61-yard score on Florida’s third play of the game that gave it a quick lead.
The Gators went on to extend their lead to 24-14 by the break.
Here’s what the media had to say about Florida’s strong start in the Orange Bowl:
Lamical Perine has now had 2 bowl games in his career with a rush TD and a rec TD (also last season).

Trask was showing better this drive only to bring in Emory for a couple runs. Just predictable at that point.
