Florida quarterback Luke Del Rio took a low hit in the third quarter against North Texas yesterday and many thought it could have been serious based on the look of it.

According to SEC Country’s Zach Abolverdi, Del Rio’s injury is not season ending, and is believed to be a knee sprain. The Gators’ signal caller may not be out for the entire year, but is expected to not be available for the game against Tennessee next week.

ESPN’s “College GameDay” will be attending the Gators-Volunteers game, which is slated to start at 3:30 p.m. at Neyland Stadium.
