Steve Spurrier-Florida Field will feature a new look for Saturday night’s Florida vs. Florida State game.

A message board poster (Brad1523 on 247Sports) captured a photo of a blue end zone with orange lettering. Student journalist @KeiserDonavon shared the photo on Twitter:

In November 2018, The Swamp end zones were painted orange with blue lettering. That look remained intact for UF’s five home games in the 2019 regular season (after being absent for the spring game).

Florida is looking for its first home win against the Seminoles since 2009, the Senior Day for Tim Tebow, Brandon Spikes and other Gator Greats. Florida State’s 38-22 win over Florida in 2017, the last meeting between the Gators and Noles in Gainesville, was Jimbo Fisher’s final FSU win.

Saturday night will be Senior Day for a class that helped snap a five-game losing streak to the Noles with a 41-14 win over FSU last year in Tallahassee.

Saturday’s game is set to air at 7:30 p.m. ET on the SEC Network. UF is favored by 17.5 points according to current Caesars Sportsbook lines.

We’ll see if Florida has anything else special planned for the rivalry clash.
