Florida Gators’ incoming freshman Justin Watkins was arrested Wednesday for trespassing on school grounds, according to online state records.

Watkins was booked at 3:48 p.m. Wednesday and released Thursday at 2:37 p.m. after posting a $500 bond. Per the Tampa Bay Times, Watkins allegedly kicked a female’s car and broker her phone after an argument. He followed the female into the student lot at a Marion County high school, where he was arrested.

Watkins was one of Florida’s most prized signees in the class of 2018, and he could play either receiver or cornerback.

Rated a 4-star prospect, Watkins was ranked as the nation’s No. 89 overall player, the No. 16 overall WR and the state of Florida’s No. 20 overall prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. He was a big get for Dan Mullen.
