Tim Tebow and Urban Meyer together again: Jaguars reportedly plan to sign former NFL QB

Tim Tebow is giving it another go in the NFL.
That’s the latest from NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, who are both reporting that the Jacksonville Jaguars “are planning to sign” Tebow in the next week.
Tebow has not played in the NFL since the 2012 season. He was the 25th overall selection in the 2010 NFL Draft out of Florida after the Broncos selected him in the first round.
This move would reunite Tebow with his former college coach, Urban Meyer in Jacksonville. Adding to the homecoming theme, Tebow is a native of Jacksonville.
Should Tebow land a full-time role on the Jaguars’ roster this season, the SEC Network would need to find a replacement for the football analyst.
The #Jaguars are planning to sign QB-turned-TE Tim Tebow to a 1-year deal, per me and @TomPelissero, a deal that could be official in the next week or so. Nothing done yet. But he’ll have a chance to make the team to reunite with his mentor and college head coach Urban Meyer.
